Brazilian Red (Nhandu Carapoensis)
This species makes an excellent display species due to its large size and terrestrial nature. They are covered in long red shaggy hairs. Also a rather docile species to boot!
Chaco Golden Knee (Grammostola pulcheripes)
This absolutely beautiful Tarantula is an ideal starter species! It is calm and docile like Brachypelma spp., it is also a nicely coloured and huge species. It has long pinkish hairs with golden yellow striping on the legs and bulky, robust appearance. The more the spider grows, the more gold that shows!
Sazimas Tarantula (Pterinopelma sazmai)
Also Known as a Brazilian Blue – These are found on a unique ecological island, a habitat high upon tabletop mountains which have a greater rainfall and different soils than the immediately surrounding area. A beautiful iridescent blue tarantula and the most exiting species to enter the hobby in 2012 and likely to be one of the most sort after species for the next couple of years.
