Safety precautions:

1.) Using with Invertebrates

Bulbs are only suitable for room use as a light source for viewing your collection with minimal disturbance. Spot Bulbs are not suitable for heating Arachnids, Beetles and other popular pet inverts. Never install a lamp inside an Invertebrate enclosure only use externally in the room.

2.) Using with Reptiles & Amphibians

Spot lamps are not designed for heating the whole enclosure, they concentrate the heat in a small local area to allow basking. The lamp wattage should be chosen to match the size of cage, type of animal being heated and the temperature required. It recommended that these bulbs are used with a dimming thermostat when used as a heat source.
